What was your favourite wedding day moment:
We hired the local Noosa Ferry to provide a great time filler for our guests. Whilst the bridal party took photos, the wedding guests were treated to a cruise along the Noosa River. Once they guests disembarked at our reception at the Noosa Boathouse, the ferry returned to pick up the bridal par-ty. With a few bottles of Moet and some nibbles, the bridal party had our own private cruise along the river, under a setting sun, on the top deck. Every time we passed someone on the river banks we were cheered and toasted, and we all felt like we were on cloud 9. Everybody we saw wanted to send us their well wishes which made Tim and I feel truly special. It was an amazing moment to just drink in all the action of the ceremony before heading on to the reception.
Why did you choose Noosa Boathouse for your special day:
Tim grew up in Noosa and has always known Noosa Boathouse to have a great reputation, both in food quality and service. After booking an appointment to see the wedding function room, it was the amazing views up and down the river that really sold this venue as the one for us.
What advice would you give to brides looking to marry in Noosa:
If you are planning your wedding from interstate it can be difficult to decide on vendors and sup-pliers. Once you have at least one person locked in, ask for their recommendations for other sup-pliers/vendors. They will always recommend decent, reliable suppliers because they want your wedding to go as smoothly as you do!
Also, having something like the ferry cruise for your bridal party was a great way to slow your wed-ding day down so that you can both appreciate how special your ceremony was, before the mad-ness of a wedding reception.
